CED Stone Inspiring Beautiful Landscapes

Caithness Paving

Named after the county it's been quarried from in North Scotland for hundreds of years, Caithness is a beautiful mud stone with a distinctive dark black-grey shade. Known for its strength and durability, its a material that has been used worldwide in a range of projects, from city centre developments to private homes.

Our riven Caithness paving flags have a unique surface texture, with small dents, bumps, levels and crags giving a slightly gnarled texture. On closer inspection, you'll find that the surface has a subtle sparkle.
