125 Celtic Sizes (mm) Product Description These mixed boulders come in a variety of colours but they are all predominantly green-tinged, reflecting their Irish origins. Perfect for arranging around sculptures or building into rockery formations, these boulders will sometimes have tones of sepia and orange-brown, especially the darker, iron-rich stone types. Gabbro Sizes (mm) Product Description Perfect for a misty‚ shaded glade; these natural boulders will look like they have been there forever. With rustic and atmospheric tones, Gabbro Boulders will make an attractive addition to your outdoor space. Gabbro Boulders are weathered and rough with flat surfaces and slightly rounded corners, making the larger pieces great for climbing on. Gabbro Boulders are formed by glaciation but hardly travelled at all so they are not as round and smooth as other boulders and cobbles. Mixed Glacial Boulders Sizes (mm) Product Description A mixture of various colours and stone types, mixed Glacial Boulders consist of light to mid-grey granites with tones of pink, along with some finely banded grey to buff coloured quartzites and well banded black and pink coloured quartzites. Some spectacular black and white banded gneiss can also be included, along with some other more unusual stone types which can be supplied separately if required. These boulders are well rounded and worn by glacial transport‚ although some of the quartzites can be blockier‚ making excellent boulder seats. Porphyry Plattens Sizes (mm) Product Description Porphyry Plattens are naturally smooth and flat, making them ideal for using as stepping stones laid across shallow ponds, streams or dry river beds. They’re a great option for building a flatter rockery arrangement with a lower height, or setting in gravel for a Japanese garden style. Originally a slabby rock, Porphyry Plattens are moraine boulders that have been tumbled and smoothed in alpine rivers, resulting in a flatter boulder than you’d usually expect with granite materials.
