129 Riviera Sunset Sizes (mm) Product Description A marble based stone formed with limestone is recrystallised under high temperatures, pressures and magma intrusion. The newly formed crystal structures gives the marble a glistening, sparkly appearance which makes it particularly beautiful in the sunshine. The striking golden bands are the result of iron being deposited into the original limestone, mineralising into limonite over time. Angel Sizes (mm) Product Description With its contrasting shades, an Angel Standing Stone will stand out in any garden scheme, particularly among vibrant green planting or alongside our Angel Cobbles. The Angel Standing Stone is formed from layers of calcium carbonate and clay rich sediments which have been turned into rock by heat and pressure – transforming the calcium carbonate layers into a white marble, whereas the clay rich sediments mineralise to chlorite, giving the stone its dark greenish-grey colour. Purple Schist Sizes (mm) Product Description Bring warmth and depth to your garden scheme with a Purple Schist. When wet, the colours deepen and intensify, making it a great material to use for water features. Purple Schist is particularly good for bringing height into your scheme with little weight; which makes it particularly ideal for using in smaller gardens, or in spaces with difficult access. Slate Sizes (mm) Product Description Dark and dramatic with craggy shapes, a Slate Standing Stone can be used as an outdoor feature to great effect with pieces up to 2 metres high. They can stand tall in a vertical position or arranged horizontally in striking combinations amongst planting. For larger pieces, please contact us to discuss your requirements in more detail. Purple Wave Sizes (mm) Product Description The patterns of purple can be quite inconsistent, with some stones having intricate fine purple lines, and some having large, dominant purple tones and bands, making each one unique. Purple Wave is a marble based rock, and its glistening, sparking appearance is the result of the stone’s limestone base recrystallising through heating by magma intrusion. The magma intrusion also causes the groundwater to boil and force its way through the marble, depositing iron rich haematite minerals in the stone resulting in the marvellous purple bands.
