98 1. Perform the necessary excavation. Always remove the top soil. Install the borders. These should be 20mm above the level of the top of the sheet. 3. Install the sub-base in layers not exceeding 200mm depth and compact with a roller or vibrating plate. 4. Install the levelling layer and then level and compact. 5. Cut sheets with a cutting disc then lay in half-brick bond, making sure you overlap the geotextile underside on each sheet. 6. Make any necessary cuts using a power or hand saw to form any shape required. 7. Pour the gravel directly over the laid sheets and spread evenly with a rake, shovel or broom, making sure all the cells are filled. 8. As the gravel begins to settle, make sure the cells are filled with the correct amount so that the sheets are not visable underneath. 9. ECCOgravel30 requires 30mm, ECCOgravel40 40mm of gravel to fill additional 10mm is needed over the top to cover the surface. 10. Inspect and level a few weeks after installation.
