CED Ltd, specialist suppliers of Natural Stone to Builders Merchants, Landscape and Construction industries, has a vacancy working on behalf of its Midland and Northern Depots as a Sales Executive covering the North West of England.

The role will suit an enthusiastic, trustworthy and self-motivated individual seeking a new challenge. Full training, coaching and mentoring will be provided so a proven track record within sales in a related industry is not essential but would be a distinct advantage.

Whilst familiarity with natural stone products would also be useful it is not necessary provided you have a willingness to learn. This role will ideally suit someone who has a clear understanding of the various routes to market within the construction industry.

Reporting to the “Business Development Manager” you will be required to generate new business, ensure that sales leads arising from our Midlands and Northern Depots are fully capitalised upon and build lasting relationships with new and existing customers. You will develop stockists, architects, contractors and end users.

A good basic education is required as you will be expected to prepare quotations and communicate via letter and email with customers. Previous use of a database driven enquiry handling system along with good general IT skills will also be a distinct advantage.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm. Salary is negotiable.
