Product when dry
Product when wet (eg. from rain)
A strong material‚ it has the ability to be cut like glass to varied shapes with straight or curved edges and as a result, it forms superb cropped walling.
A slightly lighter colour than Alta‚ this is a very versatile quartzite. The individual layers of Oppdal are very easily separated along the thin mica-rich planes‚ the distance between the layers determining the thickness. Then and quite remarkably‚ the surface of the thin flagrock can be scored in any direction‚ straight or curved‚ and the material bent by hand to make it split.
Please note that this is not a stock product, however, it can be made to order within a 6 - 8 week period.
