Apex Landscapes leading a crew of volunteers
Silver-Gilt Medal Winner
The garden was inspired by the epic journey made by Captain Cook and Sir Joseph Banks as they left England to map the Southern hemisphere in 1768. Banks also collected flora and fauna specimens at most ports - many of which were represented in the garden.
Leading you around the garden, through continents made up of planting and over the water are the stepping stones. Once you reach the pavilion, it provides a place to escape, imitating the billowing sails of a ship.
Surrounding the garden is a limestone wall, representing the limestone cliffs along the Eastern coast of Australia.
