CED Stone Inspiring Beautiful Landscapes

Slatewood Palisades

Make use of the grained and craggy aesthetics of reclaimed timber whilst benefiting from the strength and lifelong durability of natural stone. Slatewood palisades bring interest and texture to your outdoor space. Black and grey in colour, shot through with golden-brown hues, Slatewood is a European stone classified as Quartz-Phyllite, which gives the appearance of old and weathered timber. When split, its minerals give the stone a natural wave, making it look remarkably similar to worn bark or driftwood.

Due to its grained texture, Slatewood is perfect for making a statement in areas that have a high slip risk. Using stone that naturally imitates the look of wood will allow for a more authentic appearance, as the stone echoes the organic shape and colour variations found in timber materials, rather than using manufactured and styled wood replicas. Create incredibly long-lasting raised bed borders in place of timber sleepers, or add textured feature walls or ornamental arrangements - the possibilities are endless!
