The New West End Garden is a modern interpretation of the gardens and architecture of a London square. It is designed as a communal garden, providing a green oasis all year round in the heart of the West End, and utilises environmentally positive technology, including energy-harvesting systems for residents, workers and visitors. The garden also features Pavegen’s innovative tiles which convert footsteps into electricity and data.
This calm space has lightweight trees providing shelter and privacy from the surrounding buildings. Colourful low-level planting around the perimeter invites visitors into the garden. We donated our Buff Grey Sawn Yorkstone paving slabs, a neutral stone which perfectly complements the jazzy monochrome flooring and yellow-green planting.

Kate Gould Gardens was founded over 20 years ago. The business has grown organically from a one-woman design studio to a full-service design and build firm.
Kate has gradually built a tight-knit and talented team around her that share her passion, values and commitment to high standards. Kate is known for her innovative and fearless yet practical designs, but she is the first to say that she could never see these ambitious designs through to completion without her highly-skilled build team.
The On-Site team is lead by our project managers Keith and Colin. After several years of voluntary work with the World Skills Organisation, Keith was awarded an MBE in the Queens 2012 honours. He has continued to hone and develop his skillset in landscaping. He always has his finger on the pulse, ensuring projects are delivered to an exceptional level of quality. Colin joined the team in 2018. After gaining a wealth of experience working in commercial landscaping, he was attracted by the creativity, effort and love put in to each project at Kate Gould Gardens. He is extremely capable at managing the many moving parts involved in landscaping, ensuring our lovely customers are happy. Together they manage a skilled and professional team of soft and hard landscapers to install the designs as well as maintenance gardeners who ensure the designs look amazing for years to come.
