This year, designer Sadie May Stowell took on the ‘Great Gardens Of The USA’ gardens for RHS Hampton Court, each with a completely different style and design.

The Massachusetts Garden

The Great Garden of the USA: The Massachusetts Garden is a true reflection of city life in Boston, the cosmopolitan, cultured and diverse atmosphere is triggered by the reflection of the garden of Boston’s modern and historic elements as well as the natural beauty found in the city’s many green spaces.

The backdrop of the garden is formed by a series of screens printed with images of the Boston skyline to give an impression of the city’s life and energy. Old-fashioned street lamps, as well as hard surfaces laid with cobblestones, are reminiscent of the old streets in historic areas of Boston.
