Designed by Iconic Horticultural Hero Carol Klein, the garden is divided into a series of contrasting habitats, including wetland, woodland, hedgerow, meadow, exposed mountain and seaside, alongside a small vegetable plot.

Visitors enter through a sunken wetland, leading to a raised woodland with beech trees and native hedging, with a vegetable garden opposite showcasing ‘three sisters’ planting. Beyond this, a flowing meadow of blue and purple perennials guides the way to an intimate oval seating area framed by taller planting.

Gravel planting inspired by Beth Chatto runs along the garden’s edge, reinforcing the naturalistic feel. CED Stone supplied the flint gravel used along the pathway edges and within the flower beds.
