In August 2023, a major wildfire devastated RSPB’s Corrimony Reserve. After the Fire reflects on that moment of loss and the resilience that followed, exploring how renewal can emerge from destruction.

The garden traces the recovery of a Scottish woodland, beginning in a charred landscape shaped by fire and moving toward increasing light, complexity, and life. Hidden biochar enriches the soil, pioneer species return, and native planting rebuilds a thriving ecosystem, with moss-covered gabbro boulders supplied by CED Stone Group anchoring the landscape.

At its heart, a water bowl set within a golden ratio spiral symbolises nature’s enduring design—highlighting not just survival, but flourishing after fire.
