Details

Designed as a permanent garden for The Lighthouse Child Development Centre in Essex, the space supports children and young people with neurodevelopmental and neurodisability disorders.

A strong nautical theme reflects both the centre’s identity and its Southend-on-Sea setting, with sensory planting and materials carefully chosen to engage and stimulate.

Created in collaboration with local young people and community groups, the garden uses Crushed Blue Slate supplied by CED Stone, adding texture and colour to this meaningful, inclusive space.
