As one of the London Mayor’s 100 special London schemes Open Space in Lewisham is one of the Borough’s greatest assets.
The main granite paving areas are silver grey and yellow with contrasting green bands. The yellow paving has a wonderful variation in shade and tone. Some of the yellow paving units have sandblasted designs to further enhance the scheme.
Cleverly placed silver grey granite benches complete the effect and ensure the range of open space is widely used and greatly appreciated by all Lewisham’s residents. Best Streetscape Winner 2007 Landscape and Amenity Awards.
