Especially at the weekend‚ the area on the seafront in front of the amusement arcades is usually full of people. A really great improvement has been achieved with this scheme‚ including substantial planters and a fun fountain space. This has proved immensely popular‚ often full of children long after dark. It uses a variety of warm-toned granites‚ which stay clean and skid-resistant.

Cedec Gold fills many of the seat/planters. People can walk on it and do so but it remains porous. Surprisingly little seems to spill out and‚ even if it does‚ the material is clean and does not stain the paving.
