CED Stone Inspiring Beautiful Landscapes

CE Marking

Post date: 28 Oct, 2013

From July 2013 all natural stone setts, paving and kerbs supplied within the EU must have a CE Mark attached to the packaging with the relevant European Nomenclature (EN) clearly stated. The requisite information may also be communicated on delivery notes, Commercial documents or electronically.

The aims of the new CE Marking regulations is to ensure that the materials ordered by clients comply to the appropriate set of European Standards for the expected use of the goods supplied.

CED Ltd provide CE Marking when supplying natural stone materials covered by this new directive, stating the relevant Standards as appropriate. The CE Mark gives our clients increased levels of quality assurance and further helps ensure that the ordered goods will be supplied “fit for purpose”.
