CED Midlands Depot

We are delighted to anounce the successful completion of the new and improved Midlands depot. Recently finished, the Langley Mill branchnow has completely new offices, an indoor showroom and an outdoor display area.

The indoor showroom features all stocked natural stone products, from paving, setts and kerb to walling, feature stones and gravels. Installing the feature stones was a test for the staff but with some organisation and a bit of man power the job was done and the display looks very effective. An 8 x 1.2m Cedagravel® path runs from the front to the back of the showroom demonstrating the outstanding gravel stabilisation system. The sales desk features our Tier stone cladding system in black slate with a bespoke silver grey granite work top. The outdoor display area is a showcase of reclaimed materials and various walling products that are regularly available. The new offices and showroom are situated in a new building at the ‘old’ end of the yard, which can be accessed via the Langley Park Industrial Estate, and leads out via the showroom to a hugely improved 2 acre yard. A big tidy up and a move around has allowed for more space, making it accessible for all types of vehicles.

Patrick Lynch, CED’s Midlands Depot Manager, commented “We wanted to reinforce our commitment to our existing customers, as well as build business with potential new customers and improve our specialist after sales services. Our new depot means that customers will have somewhere to explore design ideas and gain inspiration from the products on display.”

In addition, this depot now has the space to hold CPDs and open days which can take place from Mondays to Saturdays. This is a service we offer throughout the whole company and we are excited with the opportunity to continue these services for local proffesionals to the depot.

Overall the improvement scheme has created a really impressive Midlands branch for CED and emphasizes our presence in the landscape and construction industry within the area.
